Picture Day

Today was picture day at Haley's school. She was actually quite excited about it and wanted to help pick out her picture perfect outfit this morning. :) We will see in a few weeks how the official pictures turned out...but until then here are a few to entice you. :)

A Park Kind of Morning

We woke up entirely too early this morning and therefore were ready to get out of the house by 8 am. We decided on a short walk to the park for snack and some car racing...oh and an attempt at kite flying. Haley just couldn't understand why I couldn't make the wind pick up. :)

Also, I am attempting (yet again) to take my camera with me more often. I need to have more pictures of our day to day lives so in the future when I am old and grey I can prove that we used to have fun. :)

 

 

 

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We spent the morning at a local pumpkin patch with some friends enjoying the weather and some fall fun. Haley's wagon had about 30 pumpkin by the end of the visit but I made her narrow it down to just her two favorite...and one for Jake too. What a nice morning!

Zoo Fanatics

This week we made two trips to the zoo; Jake and I went during the week with some other mommies and then this morning we went as a whole family with our friends the Blounts. Here are some pictures from our adventures.

This was Jake's first trip to the zoo with just me and it was the first trip that I let him run free. He had an absolute blast! He ran around from one animal to the next pointing and talking and laughing. He loved it. Hopefully we can sneak in more of these with Haley in school now...we just have to keep it quiet because she would be totally bummed.

Family Fun Sunday!
With the Texas cold front that came through last night it seemed like a perfect chance for a family day at the zoo. We all bundled up and headed out to meet our friends the Blount's and spend the first half of the day hanging with the animals. What a great day with my amazing husband and kiddos!
