8 Months

My little boy is growing up too fast. It has been such a joy to watch him change each and every day...and these last two months he has changed a lot.

Jake now has his two bottom teeth.
He has been army crawling all over the house for weeks.
He is growing to love snacks. His favorites are the cheddar puffs.
His favorite meal is squash and bananas.
He weighs approximately 19 pounds.
He loves playing in the grass.
He graduated to taking a bath in the big tub with his sister. He loves it.
He favorite song is Twinkle Twinkle.

Last but not least...Jake absolutely loves his sister. And here is the photo proof I will show him when he is a teenager.

Happy 8 months little man!

Pinteresting - Quilted Letters

Decided it was time to work on a few of the to-do things I have backlogged on Pinterest. The first up...fabric numbers for Haley. These were super easy and turned out way better than I first thought. Plus, Haley has really enjoyed playing with them. So much so that I have the number all lined up and ready to sew. 

By the way, I am addicted to Pinterest. It literally is the greatest site ever created!!

Trick-or-Treating

Halloween Bash 2011

This past Saturday was our annual Halloween Bash. We had a blast as usual and are already looking forward to next year. Congrats to Chris on winning the Buskirk Boo-ward this year for "Best" costume. Any man willing to walk around all night with his nipples showing definately deserve the win. Ha.

 

Artsy Craftsy

Haley is apparently addicted to arts and crafts. Every day after rest time she comes out of her room immediately asking for artsy craftsy time!! She just can't get enough. I have about exhausted my resources for Halloween so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Jake even got in on the action this time.
