An Aunt, an Uncle, and Cousins, oh my!

Justin's sister Shelley and her family made the trip down from Nebraska to meet Haley this past weekend. It was a great visit filled with a tons of fun activities and lots of memories.

On Friday we ventured out as a whole group to the Houston Zoo. Even Erin and the girls tagged along. It was the first trip to the zoo for Justin & I and one I am sure we will make again. We are secretly just kids inside. Our favorite exhibit was the giraffes because they have a new baby named Miles who is just 2 weeks older than Haley. It will be fun to take her back when she is older and explain to her that they are the same age. I can just picture the awe on her little face! All the cousins had a great time too. I think the hit of the day was our second trip past the elephants when they were putting on their act. They can do all sorts of tricks and even wave goodbye with their trunks. What a great day!

Then we made the trip to Surfside beach for some fun in the sun on Saturday. We had such a good time! Haley's cousins Shaylynn and Daren had never been to the beach so it was fun to watch them play in the sand and surf. We even made the trip over to a kayak launch spot so Justin could take his other new baby out for it's first run. Daren and Dustin gave it a test run too.

It is so nice to have family around and always a treat when someone from Nebraska makes the haul down. Thanks McConville's for coming to visit. I was great seeing you all and we can't wait to see you guys again soon...you are always welcome here!!
